Even though they were featured and helped promote Sean “P. Diddy” Combs “Vote or Die” campaign, reports have surfaced that 50 Cent and Ludacris didn’t visit the polls this past Tuesday. According to the New York Daily News, early returns for the campaign indicated that 50 and Luda didn’t vote.
Ludacris’ publicist maintains that he did indeed mail an absentee ballot even though voting records in New York, Georgia and California where they keep residencies revealed that neither were even registered to vote. Diddy stated on Tuesday’s 106th and Park that 50 had already voted.
Even though Citizen Change did their best to contact each and every celebrity and/or their representatives and got a positive response for the election there seems to be a few problems. It is possible that 50 was not eligible because he is a convicted felon. Luda‘s publicist, Bianca Bianconi said the rapper did exercise his civic duty.
“I just got off the phone with Ludacris and he said he absolutely mailed his absentee ballot last week in Fulton County, Georgia,” Bianconi revealed.
