Wyclef announced on an interview with Angie Martinez that he and Canibus have put their past behind and squashed their old beef. He said to Martinez “I reached out to him. There was some unfinished business in the street. The good thing about it is all beef is squashed between Clef and Canibus. Me and Canibus got some unfinished business to deal with. He’s going to be helping us with right now Clef Records. The good thing about it is not only is he coming as an artist, Canibus is a genius at what he does when it comes to business.” No word if the two will work together on future projects

Word on the streets is that Joe Budden is finalizing a deal that will bring him to Roc-A-Fella Records. This move will depart the New Jersey based emcee from Def Jam, who released his debut. Budden revealed that a deal was in progress, but not officially finished. One insider said, “He was made an offer he couldn’t refused.”

Because of the continued success of Elephunk the Black Eyed Peas‘ 4th album, Monkey Business, has been pushed back. The follow up was supposed to be released in November but because of the steady sales of Elephunk Interscope decided to push it back to 2005. After 70 weeks on the charts and four videos, the album has reached double platinum and is still going strong. At number 35 on the Hits charts, the LP only declined two percent and still sold 29,334 copies this week.
