DMX appeared in a Queens, New York court on October 13th to answer charges alleged against him in regards to a road rage incident last June. The situation stemmed after he and another man argued over a parking space. He was accused of chasing a man through the Kennedy Airport parking lot and crashing through a toll booth.
After deliberating for a lengthy time with his wife and lawyer, DMX rejected a deal that would have kept him out of jail and is now facing the possibility of 2 years in prison. After his arrest, police searched his vehicle and found a billy club, crack cocaine and painkillers. He was subsequently charged with menacing, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. DMX has had several arrests in the past involving automobiles.
The rapper is expected back in court again on November 17th.
