While pop reigns supreme on the Billboard 200 this week (Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran sit in the #1 and #2 spots, respectively), Hip Hop isn’t far behind for the week ending December 28.
Quavo and Travis Scott’s Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho makes its debut at #3, beating out Eminem’s Revival, which sits in the #4 spot in its second week on the chart.
Meanwhile, Gucci Mane’s El Gato: The Human Glacier fails to crack the Top 20 and lands at #28 in its first week.
Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho Lands In Top 5
Quavo and Travis Scott’s joint project, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, made an impressive debut at #3, collecting 89,775 total album equivalent units (16,561 in pure albums and a streaming count of 105,321,887).
It marks the duo’s first album together under the Huncho Jack moniker. Features include fellow Migos members Takeoff and Offset as well as production from Murda Beatz, Southside, Buddah Bless and Cardo.

Revival Dips Almost 70 Percent
After nabbing the Billboard 200 crown last week, Eminem’s Revival has settled in at #4 this week after a 68 percent decline in sales. The Detroit rap goliath’s ninth studio album moved 84,221 total album equivalent units (55,934 in pure album sales and collected a streaming count of 32,987,494).
Revival marks the first time in Billboard 200 history an artist has earned eight consecutive #1 debuts. All seven of Slim Shady’s last albums have hit the chart at #1, including The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Recovery (2010), Relapse (2009), Curtain Call: The Hits (2005), Encore (2004), The Eminem Show (2002) and The Marshall Mathers LP (2000).

El Flopo?
Gucci Mane’s El Gato: The Human Glacier has entered the chart at a surprisingly low number. The East Atlanta Santa’s latest project landed at #28, a far cry from Mr. Davis’ monster debut, which hit the chart at #2 in October.
Gucci has been putting out music at a rapid rate since his 2016 release from prison. Last week, he teased the title for yet another solo album, The Evil Genius.

Where do i sign to be quavo and travis scotts cum dumpster
youre gonna have to compete with me!
So Eminem actually SOLD more than 3 times the amount of albums that Quavo & Travis Scott did, yet they’re ahead on the charts b/c of streaming? That makes about as much sense as someone saying “Revival” is a great album..
What?! How?! Those two mumble rappers should not be at #1, Eminem should always be at #1! He always puts out such classic songs and albums. Revival is a new classic, with real hip hop songs like “Walk on Water”, “River” and “Remind Me”. Eminem delivers such classic bars like “Your booty is heavy duty like diarrhea”, “Just shit on my last girl, she was what my ex lacks” and “You got buns, I got Aspergers”. How can you question such genius wordplay like that? Anyone that disagrees is either racist or likes that Migos, Lil Pump, mumble rap bullshit.
I love Em. He’s the goat. But revival sucked major donkey dick. Stop it.
Sucked lyrically? I don’t think so…
Gucci album was terrible…Even by his standards. Just when i was finding him entertaining too.
jayz has at least 11 #1 albums in a row yet i’ve seen countless websites state that eminem has 8 consecutive #1 albums which is the most in history. I’m pretty sure 11>8
-eminem holds the record for most consecutive #1’s even though jayz has more #1’s
-eminem receives best rapper award at EMA’s despite not releasing an album in almost half a decade
must be nice to be eminem. even if you catch a L the media will spin it as a win.
They’re talking about worldwide sales not only the US dumb ass! And yeah hate it or love it he’s still the best lyricist in the game!
