Megan Thee Stallion has responded to Drake after he seemingly suggesting she lied about Tory Lanez shooting her.
Drizzy appeared to subliminally diss Megan while referencing the alleged shooting on Her Loss, his new album with 21 Savage that arrived on Friday (November 4).
“This bitch lie about getting shots, but she still she a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” he rapped on “Circo Loco,” which samples Daft Punk’s “One More Time.”
Some fans believe Drake threw more shade at Megan later in the song when he rapped: “Shorty say she graduated, she ain’t learn enough / Play your album, track onе, ‘kay, I heard enough.”
Megan graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in health administration in December 2021. Her latest album, Traumazine, was released this past August.
Shortly after Her Loss‘ midnight release, Megan Thee Stallion fired off several tweets in response to Drake’s lyrics. The Houston native initially dismissed the idea that the “shots” line was aimed at her, urging listeners to “stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name.”
“I know I’m very popular but y’all gotta stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name lol N-ggas nor hoes EVER address me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts,” she wrote. “I AM CLOUT BITCH keep sucking my pussy.”
When one fan pointed out that Drake seemingly referenced her by name by saying “stallion” in the song, she replied: “A stallion is slang for a TALL THICK WOMAN.”
Without naming names, Megan then slammed Drake and his rap peers for using her shooting — which she has previously described as “scary” — as fuel for jokes and clout.
“Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass N-ggas! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot !” she snapped. “You n-ggas especially RAP N-GGAS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”
She added: “And when the mf facts come out remember all y’all hoe ass favorite rappers that stood behind a N-gga that SHOT A FEMALE. People attack me y’all go up for it , i defend myself now I’m doing too much … every time it never ends and this did NOT happen until I came out and said I got shot … y’all don’t fwm okay cool fuck it bye.”
Drake has yet to respond to Megan Thee Stallion’s tweets, although Tory Lanez seemingly reacted to Drizzy’s “Circo Loco” line by tweeting a simple shrugging emoji.
Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez have been entangled in a messy legal battle for over two years after Megan accused the rapper of shooting her in the feet at a July 2020 party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home.
As Megan claimed in an interview with Gayle King earlier this year, the pair were arguing while leaving the party when Tory shouted “Dance, bitch!” and fired multiple shots near her feet. Megan was left with bullet fragments in both feet that had to be surgically removed.
Tory Lanez has since been hit with felony assault and gun charges but has maintained his innocence, painting Megan’s account as the false allegations of a scorned ex-lover. The trial is set to commence on November 28; if convicted, Tory faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison.
While Drake previously remained silent on the contentious case, his support of Tory Lanez isn’t too surprising considering they both hail from Toronto and have been friendly since 2017 after squashing their long-simmering beef.

I really don’t get the hype for Drake. He can make a few catchy tracks but that’s it.
