Award-winning musical Hamilton blended classic theater with a nice amount Hip Hop in pretty fascinating ways. The Lin-Manuel Miranda-written story, which revolves around America founding father Alexander Hamilton, has managed to place itself amongst conversation as the biggest thing in live theater this decade. Between Miranda claiming Kanye West and Kim Kardashian inspired the story to recent headlines about high school run-ins with a young Immortal Technique, there’s no escape. And, tickets are hard as hell to acquire. The 45 United States Vice President Mike Pence of all people managed to score access to the play. Considering the more progressive and inclusionary nature of Broadway, it wasn’t a surprise that Pence got booed once his presence was known and before a cast member’s speech of acceptance.
