HipHopDX Premiere: Picking up where The War Within left off, Wrekonize (¡MayDay!) is preparing to release his next solo album, Into The Further via Strange Music, Inc. The rap battle vet is giving fans a sliver of what to expect from the project with “Unknown Number,” one of the tracks from the forthcoming project.
Into The Further is scheduled to hit stores on May 5, which just happens to be the London native’s 33rd birthday. Wrekonize’s musical roots run deep. His parents used to play with Guru during the late MC’s original Jazzmatazz days and Guru ended up being a huge influence on the then 13-year-old. Nearly 20 years later, he’s built a reputable career for himself and continues the path of staying true to his musical sensibilities. Check out the new single above.
