Today is the sixth anniversary of Guru’s untimely passing. The Hip Hop legend passed away at the age of 48 due to cancer. During his time on earth, Guru gave the world an abundance of great music.

Not only did Guru found Gang Starr in 1987 but while in the group, he still managed to put out a number of his own solo quality projects.

After his passing, tributes poured out as the Hip Hop community mourned his death. There is an entire site dedicated to the tributes made for just him.
