Rick Ross has been cast in the upcoming Coming To America sequel alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Wesley Snipes and Leslie Jones.
Although Rozay’s role hasn’t been publicized, he joked he was the real “Prince of Zamunda” while promoting Port of Miami 2 during a recent interview with Ebro In The Morning. Ross also mentioned portions of the film will be shot at his Atlanta estate.
The first installment of the motion picture was released in 1988 and is widely recognized as an ’80s classic. The sequel will find Murphy, Hall, Paul Bates and James Earl Jones all reprising their original roles.
Ross’ acting career includes previous roles in 2008’s Days of Wrath and the Magic City television series.
The Craig Brewer-directed Coming To America 2 is scheduled to premiere in December 2020.
Well I mean he is a good ACTOR considering he portrays a bad ass gangster rapper even though he was on the law enforcement end in reality. Wtf hip hop!
He’s been on both sides. He knows the streets as well as how criminals work. 50 and most wannabe gangsters don’t have an understanding of how the law enforcement catches up so they either get arrested or fake being gangster.
He’s been acting and playing a character his whole career so this should bea breeze for the bawse. Tony Yayo wishes he could get a part in film.
Pusha t is also knocking at the door
Pusha T wouldn’t have a career if he hadn’t crawled to Ross for relevancy.
Anyone from g unit is wishing the same thing.
Bruthadee you’re back??? Where were all this time??
Who the hell wants to see this guy in a movie? Granted he has some acting talent considering hes a CO parading around as a kingpin, but still…
He is a former CO turned kingpin. He’s still a kingpin.
Only someone working for him would say that.
You work for MMG.
I’m their accountant.
This man is a pathological liar. When Rosenberg asked if he had the biggest mansion in Georgia, William Robert’s corrected him and said he has the biggest mansion in the United States. His house isn’t among the top 25 largest mansions in the country so why does he gotta lie? I think lying it’s just second nature for him by now.
The mansion is listed on top under a different name.
50 couldn’t even come close to eddie if he tried. Ross gets the part naturally. Ross is running hiphop right now!!
50 has worked with DeNiro, Pacino, Willis, Stallone, Samuel L. Jackson, Forest Whitaker, Schwarzenegger, Gerard Butler, Jake Gylenhaal, Jason Statham, etc. 50 was on THE SIMPSONS. Officer Ricky will always come out on the bottom when comparing resumes.
50 has worked with DeNiro, Pacino, Willis, Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Gyllenhaal, Statham, Whitaker, Samuel L Jackson, Kilner, Goldblum, Cage, Trejo, etc. The list goes on. 50 was on The Simpsons. Ross will always lose when comparing resumes to Godfather 50, a true BAWSE.
Most of those roles were in direct to dvd films. They don’t count.
100 percent dont count. Also Righteous Kill was a real stinker
Rick Ross has been playing a fake character his entire hip hop career. It was only a matter of time before Hollywood called him.
He looks like the village chief in Ace Ventura 2
I remember buying the first Port Of Miami in Atlanta GA. From Target the Sequel to this Coming 2 America will we see The Last Dragon 2 Barry Gordon ?
Does anyone need any more proof that Hollywood is full of fake ass people? Fuck ALL of hollyweird. Bunch of phonies, pedos, rapists, and cocky assholes, who think of us as trashy peasents.
While your username is correct. I think that most people are peasants
All this comments are coming from white boys… They hate blacks so much but still wanna roll with us. Boss4ever.
Em is a big liar but is lool with this white boys. Is all good stay in your mum basement and type shit.
How does ross being a CO affect your hating ass lives? Let it the fuck go.
No we don’t like co
I cant hate on Ross. Shit, im not making millions. He gave some dope ass music in the young money/ drake/ minaj era. And underrated today tbh
he has been carried by other artists his whole career. from khaled, wayne, drake, birdman, jay, diddy, Ye, the list goes on and on.all his peers were going plat or multi plat while he was struggling to go gold when albums were still and thing pre streaming;.
Will this sequel be even worth watching? It’s way too late to make sequel Eddie and Arsenio don’t have the same energy as in the 80ies
