Rick Ross had quite a health scare last year when he was rushed to a Florida hospital with an unknown — but reportedly serious — health condition. But, he quickly got to back to studio mode following his release. Now, Rozay is back with the first official single from the long-awaited Port Of Miami 2 project.

Titled “Act A Fool,” the track features Wale and ample amounts of Rozay’s bravado. Mr. Rich Forever announced the single would arrive at midnight EST on Thursday (June 20). via Instagram.

The text read: “God is the Greatest. Port Of Miami started me on this journey. It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones this album is for you. Tenth studio album. Get ready. Ride with me. It’s time. Port of Miami 2 on the way.”

Port Of Miami 2 follows the 2006 original, Ross’ debut album. Of course, he’s dropped several albums in between, including 2015’s Black Market and 2017’s Rather You Than Me

Most recently, Ross popped up on Drake’s new “Money In The Grave” single, which was released on June 16.

    2. LOL @ a C.O. saying “streets is back”. I forgot all about him overdosing last year and foaming out the mouth and pooping himself

        1. Eminem never handcuffed another man, locked him in a cell or performed a cavity search on them looking for the drugs william raps about selling

    3. Hip hop as we know and loved it died when the streets refused to give Rozay an L in his beef with 50. Instead y’all covered for him, endorsed a Fed, and now he on top. Y’all should be fucking ashamed.

      1. PORT OF MIAMI 2: DIARY OF A CORRECTIONS OFFICER, BEST LAW ENFORCEMENT-INFLUENCED HIP HOP RECORD SINCE CHIEF DARYL GATES PUT OUT HIS SEMINAL ” WELL A HIP-A TO THE HOP-A YOU DON’T STOP-A RACIAL PROFILING” LP FROM 1987!!! BAWSE!!!

        1. He must have got done listening to SouljaBoy’s last album….It does the same thing to me too after listening to it…lol

    4. Album was supposed to come out last summer. I remember reading that it was done and he held a listening party for it. Must have been super trash for him to scrap it and start again. Green Gucci Suit was horrible.

    5. How can he even continue to rap anymore with him constantly having Drake Dunk his OvO’s all down The Donut Don’s throat.

    6. F*ck this FAT FRAUD! Biggest FAKE ever with his corny ass ‘drug bawse’ lies, f*ckin’ C.O.!

        1. Because this is a former C.O who has the nerve to think he is the new Suge Knight. Be careful what you wish 4…William.

        1. Big difference between Em and most other rapper personas is that Eminem never pretended to be some drug dealing thug and then cried about people viewing them as drug dealing criminals

          1. Youre right. I guess em is really a pill poppin mass murderer, who has killed his gf and countless others. A rock is more cognitive than most of you.

            1. Seriously, people really don’t think before they type. Eminem took on the persona of a rapist who fantasized of killing his girlfriend and mother. He even said in his rhymes he sold his soul to the devil and will never get it back. It was a persona though so stfu.

    7. You know what’s crazy… I’m sure the only time Ross went to the Port of Miami, it was to hop on a cruise ship. ?

    8. Only 3 tracks without a feature? That’s just sad he’s trying so hard to be relevant but this isn’t 2007 anymore. Go back to being a prison gaurd fake ass rapper

      1. You need to stop listening to music like a 10yr old. Rappers are called recording ARTists for a reason. They create ART musically. And I’m sure rick Ross was a CO in his teens. How you personally know what kind of dirt he might have done all those YEARS when he wasn’t a CO? Stop acting like you know a STRANGERS every footsteps bruh. I GUARANTEE you don’t even know how many dudes your partner slept with. But you think you KNOW a STRANGERS every move lmao

    9. uhhh so the first Port had 19 tracks and 11 features this one has 15 tracks and 14 features….da fuck…

    10. This fool said he was a drug kingpin for whom $10 million/year was not enough and he turned out to be a CO making $50k. Yet hes still accepted?

      1. he went to college studying criminal justice with police dreams. after he flunked out his own option was searching butts for minimum wage. his story about why he worked there for 18 months with perfect attendance has changed multiple times over the years. then he was literally sleeping on couches like a bum for years ghostwriting for wack mia rappers before he got on. he named his label maybach music years before he even owned his first used one.

    11. Who cares about the man personal life. Is the music good or not? So far the music on this album sounds fire.

            1. I got so used to features that a album with just the named artists sounds kinda boring to me. I definitely don’t mind features.Sometimes a feature might put me on to a dope rapper that normally I might not listen to. Benny The Butcher put me on to a dope rapper featured on his album (RJ Payne) Ain’t nothing wrong with features if the featured rappers are dope. If he had cats like lil Uzi and lil boat that would be a problem

        1. That’s every hiphop artist though. They work with each other all the time. The model you want applies to wack pop stars like taylor swift.

      1. That was because of Drake. Switch Officer Date R@pe with Riff Raff and it’s still a top 10 hit

    12. I love Rick Ross, but I expected more storytelling and better beats.
Still sounds decent, but this could have been way better.

      1. Please look up the definition of hypocritical because I’m not sure you really understand how to use it contextually …. and no one said they knew his exact movements throughout his life …. you are doing yourself an injustice by commenting like a moron

    13. 99% of entertainers are fake ….. do you not know how the entertainment business works …. also … do you not know that CO’s are some of the biggest criminals … they are the gatekeepers of contraband and also use the criminal contacts they make inside the prison to further their own criminal intentions

    14. Lucky for you, he has developed a great acting career in movies. He is going to be in the coming to america sequel with eddie murphy. Curtis jackson can’t make that claim as his acting career is mostly limited to direct to dvd films, a lead role in a film that flopped in 2005, and a cameo role in some episodes of power.

    15. I’m Rickey Rawse Rawse Rawse bitches call me the bawse, I’m the size of an elephant, but I’m hung like a mouse!

    16. This album has way too much commercial and pop appeal for my taste. I think Rick Ross has run out of lyrics. He doesn’t sound inspired at all simply rapping about yachts, mansions, designer clothes, etc on damn near every track. Not relatable at all to his core audience. Certainly shouldn’t have been titled Port of Miami 2 with most of the album being geared towards pop culture and radio

      1. “Not relatable at all to his core audience. ” .. LOL Officer Ricky cant even relate to most of the stuff he raps about. Hes a delusional liar and fraud.

        1. Stop making excuses. This guy been frauding since he started. No one believes for a second he was ever about that life raps about. He used to perform cavity searches on real dopeboys and lock them in cells. Then he steals another living mans name, life and beard and doesn’t show the guy any love. Legendary sucka shit

          1. No one gave a shit about eminem lying about murdering others in his slim shady songs. Both use a persona for rap. Ross is no different except he is dope while eminem has fallen off for almost 2 decades.

            1. Deert, you have literally 100 messages over various posts defending this fat fraud. We know you work for Maybach Music and we also know that despite what you say, fatass is as done as those oversized boxers yet shat himself in.

    17. I highly anticipated this will be bullshit. Not inspired the same execution. This will make the worst album list I bet. This is forgettable ass wipe. The worst album ever from Rick Ross and this year. Only j Cole can make sleepy good music goddamn wish I had pirated this shit

    18. Can’t believe they didn’t fix the mix on Act a Fool. Song is unlistenable, sounds like it was recorded in a tin pot. Also, very surprised with the lack of skits. Someone else said it on here before, but it ain’t 2012 no more. Rick Ross had that make or break moment back right before God Forgives, I Don’t. Swizz Beats was worshipping him during a press conference, Timbaland co-signed, Ross was even able to get that RNB dude whose name I forget gassed up (he did that song Post To Be). Then GFID turned out to be a let down (still has some of his best cuts though, thinking of 16, So Sophisticated, that joint with the Muslim rapper). Fizzled out since then, no Rick Ross album release really has been an “event” since then. We still bump Teflon Don though.

      1. Hiphop is about peace and love. Of course he will collaborate? Who doesn’t. How many solo songs dr dre had?

        1. Dre was a producer not an rap artist dont compare him to a rapper who raps compare him to diddy or drake with ghostwriters my guy features are cool but damn this album is overfilled where is the talent from the artist himself smh

    19. I GUARANTEE you don’t know EVERYTHING your own family friends/partner did in they lifetime. So what makes you think you gone know everything about A STRANGERS life? Answer that bruh. I don’t know any of these rap cats. So I never hurt my brain tryna figure who’s real and who’s fake. As long as they REALLY from a hood environment I’m good. And all I care about is if the music’s REAL dope or not

    20. You can easily differentiate two Rick Ross’s song by the ‘feat.’ mark, because every beat is generic, can’t say more for lyrics.
I’m not trying to hate, I’m just disappointed because I expect way better FeelsBadMan

    21. BAWSE!!!
