Rap Release Dates: Yo Gotti, ScHoolboy Q, DJ Premier and Bumpy Knuckles

The year appeared to be starting off slowly, but as the days progress, we’re seeing new albums being announced daily. Today, Yo Gotti delivers Live From the Kitchen. Gotti’s been pounding the pavement for a while now, and just last week he dropped his “January 10th” mixtape. Two days after that, we get ScHoolboy Q’s highly anticipated Habits & Contradictions. Q became a friendly face as 2011 neared its end, and now the Black Hippy is geared for a 2012 takeover.

Some new dates hit the list this week, like Koncept of Brown Bag AllStars’ Awaken, coming January 17th and 40 Glocc’s New World Agenda on January 24th. Sha Stimuli’s The Calling got a baby bump to the 23rd. In addition, Hieroglyphics’ Pep Love plans to drop Rigmarole on March 6th. Longtime friends and Gang Starr affiliates DJ Premier and Bumpy Knuckles bring The Kolexion on March 27th.

Even though Christmas has passed, some deluxe editions of albums arrive that will make some good gifts for yourself or others. On January 24th, Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s classic album The Main Ingredient will re-release as a deluxe edition. While the extras on the release are unclear, anything from that album is welcomed. Despite dropping his album only a few months ago, Yelawolf will release the deluxe edition of Radioactive on February 20th. This version will come with some bonus cuts too. 1. The Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth “Mecca & the Soul Brother” deluxe edition was released back in 2010, wasn’t it? It came with a poster & 20 page booklet! Recognize!

    2. SCHOOLBOY Q IS DOPE ON THE MIC THATS ALL IM LOOKING FORWARD TO ON THIS LIST EVERYTHING ELSE CAN GO TO THE BARGING BIN

      1. Schoolboy Q is that dude. Know I was late but the first time I heard him spit was on A$AP Rocky’s mixtape. Thought he had the best verse on the whole mixtape.

    3. Jay-Z has way too many dickriders. Jay-Z been a disloyal bitch for years and yet too many fags still talk about him like he’s Biggie or Pac. Biggie and Pac were real dudes…they were loyal to the people who they came up with. Jay the exact opposite. He shit on everybody who helped him get to the top except Memphis he dude probably suck Jay-Zs dick when Beyonce is on tour. I swear, people who like Jay-Z worship him as if he was a god. There is nothing that he can do wrong in the eyes of his fans. Even when he makes shitty pop music like Young Forever people talk about him as if he makes only meaningful songs like Nas. Jay-Z definitely has he gayest fan base of all. I bet any one of Jay-Zs fans would agree to swallow his cock and fondle his balls on request. Everyone knows he’s gonna be exposed as a fraud one day. And when he is, I hope all of his fucking bitch ass fans hang themselves.
