Murs Announces Full Lineup For Paid Dues 2013

Murs has announced the initial lineup for the Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival 2013.

This year’s festival, presented by Murs 3:16 and Guerilla Union, will feature performances from Black Hippy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Dom Kennedy, Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, De La Soul, Hopsin, Joey Bada$$ and Grouch & Eligh. Additional performers are yet to be announced.

“Paid Dues Festival is truly a unique platform,” said Guerilla Union founder and CEO Chang Weisberg. “It allows artists to elevate their talents and presence. Dom Kennedy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Black Hippy – only a few years ago, these artists were opening acts here. Now, they are full-fledge, and well deserving, headliners. Not only that: Paid Dues embraces all types of Hip Hop – old school, new school, underground, mainstream – the common denominator here is that they all embody the independent spirit, struggle and successes. This year’s lineup is so diverse, yet completely cohesive. There is no other place where you can get Black Hippy, De La Soul, Immortal Technique, and Joey Badass all in one day.”

The eighth annual event will take place on March 30, 2013 at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California. Pre-sale tickets are available now until tomorrow (December 21st) at 10 p.m. PST. General tickets go on sale on December 22nd at 10 a.m. PST. For ticket information, head to paidduesfestival.com, and check the lineup below.

    1. thats a pretty solid lineup with de la soul, scarface and kweli. and of course gangsta gibbs! Jean Grae could be a hit if she does some of the songs of Jeanius, that album is mad slept on.

    2. i ahte people that say “Fuck rick ross tech nine forever” id much rather listen to rick ross than this boring old freak “oh but hes so lyrical and…” blah blah blah who cares hes boring

      1. Theres something completely wrong with both of yous. It’s one thing not to like Tech’s style, but to praise Rick Ross? Just stop he has ZERO talent

    3. what up world, its cha boi back from vacation! i been gone for a minute but im back up in this tip. i cants really fucks with this. sorry but indie ain teh way. i want to see some real, gritty, street crunk music. 2 chainz, weezy, ross… thats how to get the party started. thats hood. remember im so hood by dj khaled? thats concert music. tech n9ne aint got much concert swag. i’d leave that to the pros!
      its cha boi!

      1. you’ve obviously never been to a tech n9ne concert he kills all the above that you mentioned, look it up and youll find out he does 10 times as more shows than any that you named, cant do that if ppl aint feeling it kiid

      2. Bwah?! Tech N9ne has pretty much the most bad ass live show in rap music today. Dafuq you talkin’ bout Willis?

    4. In no specific order, because it’s music and I don’t play favorites. There are the right artists and tracks for the right moments.

Freddie Gibbs, (G&)Eligh, Tech N9ne, De La Soul, Immortal Technique, Murs & Sunspot.

    5. Seen Tech live 4 times now and still would love to go again, he puts on a SHOW … only concert I seen better was AngerManagement tour 3 but tech does his shit with next to zero money invested and he does it very very well

    6. I would like to find out how can my group get a performance slot in the next upcoming Paid Dues festival asap. Please inform me ahead with any info if you can. Thanks, happy 2014!
