Machine Gun Kelly has a truly committed fanbase, but some people demonstrate their love for him in the most unusual ways.

On Saturday (July 1), the rapper-turned-rocker performed at the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium. From the stage, he noticed a fan in the front row holding up a sign that read: “I just came from Mexico for you to punch me.”

“Why do you want me to punch you in the face so bad?” the 33-year-old asked. “I got rings on, dude, that shit’s gonna hurt. I don’t know, it’s a lose–lose for me. I don’t know if I’m going to do it. I’ll consider it.”

Eventually, MGK fulfilled the person’s request as he stood right next to the crowd in the pit. After holding up the sign, he punched the elated fan in the cheek. While walking away, he shouted “I love you” into the microphone.

Machine Gun Kelly’s summer is currently in full swing as he continues to perform around the world, with his daughter recently joining him on the road for some not-so-traditional bonding.

In late June, he posted a series of photographs recapping his visit to France for the annual Hellfest. Along with shots of him performing and standing outside his hotel room’s window, the Ohio native also shared some images with his daughter.

13-year-old Casie Colson Baker joined her father on his European trek and even gave him a tattoo. The Instagram post by the pop-punk star showed her working on his right arm while he looked at his phone. As of now, the tattoo has yet to be revealed.

The social media post was captioned: “My daughter said summer vacation, we ended up at hellfest.” It also shows the father-daughter duo at a Dolce & Gabbana event and lounging around side-by-side while in transit.
