Kanye West Apologizes To Drake For Pusha T Diss Track

Kanye West went on another Twitter spree in the early morning hours of Wednesday (September 5). This time, he tackled a myriad of topics, including his role in the Drake and Pusha T beef and the G.O.O.D. Music summer album rollout.

‘Ye began with a screenshot of one of Drake’s Instagram posts and an apology for stepping on Drake’s Scorpion release date.

“Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew,” he wrote. “I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online. I understand where the confusion started.”

He adds, “Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place … We were building a bond and working on music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office.”

Kanye goes on to explain he was “ramped up” and firing off on Twitter.

“TMZ happened shortly after… I have to hop on the plane now… will type more when I land.

“plane taxiing for take off… because we spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it.”

From there, ‘Ye addresses Pusha T’s “Infrared” diss from the Daytona album, Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle” response and Pusha’s scathing diss track that followed, “The Story Of Adidon.” He insists he never talked to Pusha about Drake’s secret son with Sophie Brussaux.

“I never listened to either diss track that followed but I did hear quotes from both songs after they were released,” he said. “I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.”

Kanye did point out that he understood why Pusha snapped on “The Story Of Adidon.” On Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” the Toronto rap superstar mentions Pusha’s now-wife Virginia Williams.

“I understand Pusha’s issues as a man if someone mentions your fiancé men go mask off,” he said. “I’ve done the same myself at times. I love you and I love Pusha and we all have an admiration for each other’s craft.”

Finally, ‘Ye ended his spree with, “This is all Jedi level. I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created.”

All of this comes after Drake allegedly fired a shot at ‘Ye on French Montana’s new track “No Stylist.”

On one of his verses, the 6 God raps, “I told her don’t wear no 350s ’round me,” a reference to Kayne’s Yeezy 305 sneakers. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

      1. Yeah his album Debut #1 with only 7 songs and his Yeezy brand is valued at around a billion. Yeah he’s totally over….You clown LOL

        1. So Koonye doing Amazon, Apple and Walmart numbers (billion???), LMAO……BRUH STOP IT! Koonye is FINISHED and officially WASHED!

    1. Why the hell is Kanye Apologizing to this emotional dude? I’m a fan of Kanye West, but I if were Pusha T, I’d be off of good music After this garbage. Kanye is acting like a little girl by apologizing to this dude

    2. “leave ye out of your verses. i want all the curses.” every time drake mentions kanye it just reminds me of how scared drake is of pusha.

      1. I guess you never picked up on the irony that Pusha T then went on to insult Drake’s producer, his father, his mother, his baby mama and his son. Ain’t no one scared of Pusha T. He’s an approachable dude

    3. For real though Kanye a piece of shit. From running off at the mouth about personal issues with Jay and B (y’all supposed to be brothers huh?) to hopping on trump’s dick and his ignorant rants on slavery. Now he trying to apologize to drake??? Bruh I’m lost. I guess he really scared that he ain’t got the juice no more so he apologizing thinking maybe drake will throw him a bone since jay ain’t fucking with him. Sigh what happened ye?

    4. How do people believe this is sincere? Why not text this to Drake instead of putting it on Twitter for everyone to see. It’s like when he posted a screenshot on twitter of his phone call with Cole. That’s shit a twelve year old wouldn’t do.

    5. Kanye may act out on emotions, but he is always sincere and passionate about art and music. That’s why he is a great artist and hip hop needs more congratulating then wwf beefs.
