Since emerging from the sunken place this summer, Kanye West has shared public praise and admiration for numerous controversial individuals.
The latest is A$AP Bari, a close friend who Yeezy explained via Twitter on September 26 he unjustly distanced himself from following sexual assault allegations, which cost Bari — among other things — a deal with Nike.
“I was scared to say he was my friend just like I did with XXX … that was some pussy shit on my part,” he explained, noting that as a friend, Bari challenged him creatively.
“I let the perception and the robots control me …that’s the true sunken place. I appreciate your perspective and vision,” he says, adding that true “Jedis” shouldn’t allow perception in what he describes as “cancel culture” get between them.
“There’s no way I would have the number 1 record in the world without this man here,” ‘Ye said, tweeting posting a photo of himself FaceTime chatting with Bari.
“He broke me out of my pretentious rich nigga shell.”
Though he remained a member of A$AP Mob, many in the industry appeared to distance themselves from the VLONE co-founder following the controversy. Bari has since launched a countersuit against his accuser.
Much to the chagrin of some core fans, ‘Ye has also been working with rapper Tekashi69, who himself is no stranger to sexual controversy.

I miss the slim Kanye, above the rim Kanye, Jesus walked and you died to me like him Kanye.
Kanye has a point but of course the cancel culture will turn this into Kanye siding with him in regards to the sexual misconduct allegations etc.
Nah, we‘re used to Kanye talking out his ass by now.
Meh he’s done and said so much bs over this last year I’m starting to tune out when he talks.
His next project with Tekashi and Bari will be called Watch the Kids
This self-proclaimed genius is actually a mentally unwell hack. He proclaimed all this outlandish stuff about his talent, and the media (due to his association with another grossly overrated talent) kept proclaiming it as well. Even when he put out an album of nothing but cacophonous noise, they proclaimed it as visionary. Your average person, being the completely impressionable fool he/she is, bought into the hype and for years overlooked this emotional cripple’s foibles, because well, geniuses can be erratic. Now, 15 years after this “genius”‘s career began, the hype is starting to die down as the media moves onto other “geniuses” and people are finally calling this clown out for what he really is, disturbed. Give it a few years and this guy will be considered a laughing stock everywhere, much like his MAGA idol.
Dude still has at least 3 classic albums. I’d say that’s pretty genius compared to what modern artists put out nowadays.
Think about the Kanye of today and then think back to when he went nuts on stage said that Jay-Z had shooters etc and was taken away and went missing for a while, there you will have the answer to what is going with Kanye today.
