Jadakiss chose to delay his Ignatius album last week following the death of Pop Smoke, but The LOX MC is back in promo mode with the LP due out on Friday (March 6). Ahead of the project’s release, Jada shared the official tracklist on Wednesday (March 4).

The veteran rapper’s fifth solo album is comprised of 13 tracks. Guests contributing to the project include Rick Ross, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, DeJ Loaf, Ty Dolla $ign and John Legend, among others.

Ignatius will be Jada’s first studio LP since 2015’s Top 5 Dead Or Alive. The album is named after Ruff Ryders A&R/producer Ignatius “Icepick Jay” Jackson, who passed away in 2017.

    1. Bunch of b list rappers. Get a drake feature if you want to sell records you bum ass rappers. In 2020 drake has the rap game by the throat.

      1. Ain’t no way in hell drake runs the rap game from Canada. You are a delusional bigot!!! You need some help….

        1. Drake was nothing more than an actor on a kids’ TV show while he was living in Canada. Just like Bieber, it was him going to the US that propelled him to the level he’s at now. Don’t put this on The Great White North haha

      1. This argument is so fkn stupid cause it’s so rare in rap to have features on hooks isn’t it, which a number of these will be.

      2. Those are some impressive math skills, even though there are 6 tracks without features but keep it up bro. Math teacher looks good on you.

        1. There are 3 songs without features. Skits are not tracks. actually count them individually before you comment.

    2. I have tons of respect for Jadakiss, but his albums just don’t excite me. I’ll check out the snippets when it hits iTunes though

    3. So, a singer on every hook basically. Another rap/R&B album. Hard to find good Hiphop these days. Jada is a dope MC without a classic album under his belt. His albums sound like a compilation of songs rather than a focused piece of work. Peace.

    4. I wish Jada would just do a griselda type album with minimal features and grimey production.. No singing hooks, no industry artists, no attempts at radio play etc… He needs his own version of 4:44 because all his albums, while at times enjoyable, felt scattershot and unfocused.. He needs to learn how to make a cohesive piece of work

      1. agreed. Great rapper, but not quite top 5 even alive, since he has yet to drop a classic LP, either solo or with the Lox

      2. Agreed. I just gave the album a quick listen, and it’s just about all R&B with some rap. For me it’s a disappointment because it’s been almost 5 years since his last solo album. I feel that this new album is Jada’s “personal” album, and that’s why there isn’t the expected street tracks that folks expect from him. Jada’s first solo album “Kiss Tha Game Goodbye” still remains my favorite project from him. I also wish this new album had more tracks.

    5. I’m sorry but after listening to Roc Marciano,38spesh and Griselda shit it’s hard to really listen to anything on the east they got it completely locked down with production and Lyrics

      1. You must not have listened to it. It’s the opposite of ‘hard’. And I get it, you can’t rap about the same things at 40-something as you did in your 20s, but this is too soft. You can’t even play this with a straight face as a dude unless a chick is with you. It’s a feminine album.

    6. Brah like nyc rappers I swear be on some other shit. Like I know I older but damn what’s up with that beat selection.

    7. FACTS!!! im jada fan but he needs some street shit album and not featuring commercial artists and nasty r&b niggas!!!!

    8. Just listened to it. I appreciate his message and he’s a dope MC, but this is a neo soul album, not Hiphop. I can pop in a Kenny Lattimore CD if I feel like vibin out to body and soul music. Where’s the Hiphop? What a boring album.

    9. I get the message here.. Bt this was defntly not an album for Kiss fans, more his own therapy.. Surely gotta jump back in the booth and at least drop an EP in like 6months of straight NY street heat

    10. Versatility. Nothing wrong with switching it up. If it was the same sounding street shit we’d be saying it’s the same shit. Cool out and rock wit it

    11. Spun the album in the whip today.. It’s not wack but it’s too soft.. He got like 2 or 3 hard-core joints on here and the rest is fluffy af.. Top 5 was way harder than this album.. I don’t think imma be replaying this album much more save for hunting season, me, and angels.. I didn’t think a member of the lox could deliver a album as feminine as this and I say that with no disrespect.. Jada still a legend but this ain’t what I wanted from him

      1. Aren’t you the same Jedi guy that can whip up 10 racks on the street real quick? With your cosplay ass.

    12. Top 5 dead or alive? Not even close. 1. BIG 2. Pac 3. BDK 4. Rakim 5. Pun. Still like 5 others at least shitting on dude before this weak album came out.
