A$AP Rocky and Rihanna shocked the world last month with the news they’re expecting their first child. Fans flocked to social media to congratulate the couple, while others were sad that Flacko and RiRi are officially off the market.

One person who had something to say was former rapper and podcast host Joe Budden who’s had issues with A$AP Rocky in the past. Instead of continuing to hate on the Harlem native, Budden believes it’s finally time for him to bury his grudge.

“I was so angry. I had to deal with being angry that this is the final stab to my A$AP Rocky hate,” Budden joked. “I have to stop hating him now! I don’t like that when you gotta stop hating somebody, like I kinda enjoyed hating a few n-ggas.”

Joe Budden briefly explained that his beef with Rocky stemmed from the “Fashion Killa” rapper’s comments during the Black Lives Matter and Ferguson protests in 2015. Flacko had folks up in arms when he came off unbothered saying he “didn’t sign up to be no political activist” during an interview at the time.

The Joe Budden Podcast crew agreed that Rocky’s comments were tone-deaf, but Budden actually went onto side with his former adversary, saying, “Tone-deaf can make you feel a way, and that’s not his fault, and I need to be more understanding. This year, I’m gonna try to do that.”

He added, “I’m happy, I’m super happy for them. This is a beautiful story all around the board. You used to date, both went their separate ways, learned themselves, learned other people and came back in bliss. Looking good, more successful than ever, both of them, first child for both of them. We have a new entry into the power couple world.”

With their first child on the way, fans are now wondering if A$AP Rocky and Rihanna will be releasing music anytime soon. RiRi’s long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s ANTI has been in the works for some time, while Flacko’s All Smiles LP was rumored to drop last year.
