Incarcerated rapper Bobby Shmurda isn’t expected to be freed until 2020, but he already has one of rap’s biggest groups lining up for a collab. Quavo took to Twitter on Thursday (December 26) to announce his latest conversation with the 25-year-old rapper and to put everyone on alert for new music between the Migos and Shmurda.

Quavo tweeted, “Jus Talked Bobby Shmurda Lil Bro In Great Spirits Bout To Touch Turf Soon!!! SHMIGO ALERT ? 2020!!!”

The Atlanta native recently hinted about new music from the rap trio in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX.

“I can’t give too much away but like I mentioned, I’m always working and recording, thinking about what’s next,” he states. “All I can say is stay tuned. We’ve got some exciting things coming up on the music side, as well as what I’m doing with Martell. You can always expect me to stay unapologetic and continue to change the game.”
