Krizz Kaliko shocked a sold-out crowd at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado earlier this month when he re-signed with Strange Music, Inc. Roughly a week earlier, he was planning to leave the Kansas City, Missouri imprint but — with the support of his wife Crystal Watson — had a change of heart.
His decision surprised everyone — including Tech N9ne and Strange Music CEO Travis O’Guin.
Now, Krizz is back with his first video appearance since re-signing with the label for Tech’s “Active.” The cinematic visual stars Tech, Krizz and King Iso and brings Season 2 of his Kathartic visual series to a close.
“Active” picks up where “Ion Memba” left off and finds the trio’s fictionalized characters in court following the false murder charge, prison escape and subsequent recapture.

According to the press release, the dialogue for the music video was written by Tech himself, who “conducted extensive research and consulted with a lawyer in order to make the scene play out realistically.”
