Birdman may have found a replacement for Rich Homie Quan’s spot in Rich Gang. The Cash Money Records co-founder teased a sequel to 2014’s Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 mixtape by sharing an Instagram photo of himself alongside original member Young Thug and Jacquees.
“YSLFYBRG #RICHGANG2,” he wrote. “@jacquees @thuggerthugger1 @birdman @cashmoneyofficial #LIFESTYLE #VERIFY #ORIGINAL RICHGANG.”
Rich Gang 2 has been teased before, but a follow-up to the group’s acclaimed tape has seemed unlikely following Quan’s departure from Rich Gang in 2015. Jacquees replacing Quan would throw a new wrinkle into the possibilities though, making a sequel more realistic since he’s signed to Cash Money.
Last year, Gucci Mane offered $1 million to Quan and Thugger if they would reunite for another mixtape. The latter artist wasn’t interested in the proposition and let Guwop know on Twitter.
