Ed Sheeran rap-heavy No. 6 Collaborations claimed the No. 1 album on this week’s Billboard 200 by a large margin, but Hip Hop maintained a strong presence throughout the Top 10. Dreamville’s Revenge Of The Dreamers III remained in the Top 3 after last week’s chart-topping debut, plus projects such as Lil Nas X’s 7 EP (No. 4) and Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You (No. 6) held onto their respective positions.
Elsewhere, Big K.R.I.T.’s K.R.I.T. Iz Here cracked the Top 20 in its first week on the chart. Notable declines included Machine Gun Kelly’s Hotel Diablo falling from No. 5 to 19 and Jaden Smith’s ERYS plummeting from No. 12 to No. 58.
K.R.I.T.’s Arrival
Big K.R.I.T. wasn’t able to find his way into the Top 10 with K.R.I.T. Iz Here as the LP debuted at No. 16. The placement was down from his previous effort 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, which peaked at No. 7.

Although K.R.I.T. didn’t match the success of his 2017 double album, he was the best-selling Hip Hop artist of the week as far as pure album sales go. K.R.I.T. sold 21,399 total album equivalent units with 7,425 of those copies being pure album sales.
Dreamville Powers On
The J. Cole-led compilation Revenge Of The Dreamers III was Hip Hop’s top-charting release for the second week in a row. After debuting at No. 1, the Dreamville crew’s album settled in at No. 3.

ROTD3 couldn’t pull off another week of six figures sales, but the LP still sold a respectable 54,752 total album equivalent units. After selling 23,284 in pure album sales during its initial week on the chart, the weekly total dropped to 1,690.
Jaden’s Dramatic Fall
Jaden Smith’s ERYS album didn’t fare too well in its second week on the Billboard 200. The LP took a nose-dive from its No. 12 debut to No. 58.

The project’s sales went down from 23,932 total album equivalent units to 10,265. The Roc Nation artist’s total was heavily reliant on streaming too, only selling 477 copies in terms of pure album sales.
