SPG — the Fall River, Massachusetts-based duo of Lyfe Crisis and Mr. Ent — are teasing their upcoming LP with a brand new single and video featuring Griselda’s own Benny The Butcher. The track “Real Dope Boys” gets an in-studio visual treatment, which captures what group member Lyfe Crisis tells HipHopDX was a great experience.

“It was a dope experience working with an artist like Benny, who’s all about making real hip hop and speaks on real life shit,” Crisis tells DX. “[It] fits perfectly with our styles.”

The duo’s SPG Collabs project drops August 9 and will feature contributions by Benny, Styles P, Cassidy and more.

Song producer and video director Myster DL, who recently worked with Conway The Machine, notes this was the second visual he shot with Benny that day.

The Buffalo native — and the whole Griselda team — have been especially busy as of late. Benny’s new project The Plugs I Met is scheduled to drop Friday (June 21). It will feature collaborations with Pusha T, Jadakiss and Black Thought, among others.
