Drake decided to share some big news while celebrating the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA Finals victory at their championship parade on Monday (June 17).
Drizzy announced his OVO Fest will be returning this year and invited his hometown team to the event.
“I hope all these guys will join me this year because we bringing OVO Fest back, so I hope we can go crazy!” he announced to the crowd while speaking in Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square.
Although OVO Fest didn’t happen last year, the multi-platinum recording artist hinted his annual concert series might return in 2019 during the Toronto stop of his Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour.

In May, speculation about OVO Fest’s return was also heightened when Drake offered tickets to Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens’ daughter Mallory, who trolled the 6 God by wearing a Pusha T shirt to Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The lineup and date of the next OVO Fest have yet be announced. However, it has typically taken place in August with the artists being revealed during the last week of June.
Past festival performers include The Weeknd, Eminem, JAY-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar.
