Drake is behind a new project that’s been picked up by Showtime. According to Deadline, Drizzy is one of the executive producers of an upcoming documentary examining the deportations of U.S. military veterans.

The film, which is titled Ready For War, explores the realities of immigrant soldiers who’ve been sent back to Mexico after committing a crime. The documentary highlights their fight to return to the U.S. and also details how veterans are targeted with forced recruitment by Mexican drug cartels.

Ready For War follows three soldiers with green cards who are in different stages of the process. One is stuck in Tijuana trying to get back to his family. Another is being detained by ICE and fighting deportation. The last subject has been brought into the drug cartel in Ciudad Juárez.

Drake is among a group of executive producers that includes his manager Adel “Future” Nur, the film’s creators Andrew Renzi and Nick Boak, and Showtime’s Vinnie Malhotra, among others. Anthony Gonzales and Jason Shrier will serve as producers.
