Meek Mill & Michael Rapaport’s Twitter War Inadvertently Shaded Nicki Minaj

Meek Mill and Michael Rapaport kicked off the week with some lightweight Twitter beef. The outspoken actor took issue with Meek’s performance during the 2019 NBA All-Star weekend, calling him a “trash” rapper.

As part of their exchange, Rapaport and Meek both shared the same photo of themselves hanging out together at a game.

But there was one noticeable difference.

In Meek’s version of the photo, his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj is cut out of the photo, while Rapaport’s photo shows Black Barbie cozied up to her former flame.

To add insult to injury, Meek also refers to Nicki in his caption as “Anonymous.”

However, Meek wasn’t done with Rapaport there. He called him out for asking the Philly rapper for a photo in the first place while questioning his place in Hip Hop culture.

“Aye @michaelrapaport don’t ever use the word trash when you speaking on nothing from our culture unless you tryna get trashed,” he wrote. “#2 who gave you authorization to be speaking on us? #3 what you charging now? Last time I seen you you wanted a selfie. be great tho on the net.”

Meek also copped to misspelling Rapaport’s first name and ultimately recognized Rapaport’s First Amendment rights.

“And I don’t follow him or know his name,” he said. “I’m happy I didn’t @him right lol.”

He added, “Once again it’s on lol. I just hate internet trolls. he’s entitled to his opinion tho. I been on his ass tho a lil bit from being roll.”

    1. Meek Mill is trash. Dude is only relevant cause he went to jail and had white rich folk (like NEP owner) kissing his A because they wanted props in the culture. Couldn’t even watch the roster call in the all star game cause he F’d it up. take your 10 min of fame and GTFOH

        1. Calling Meek one of the greatest hip hop artists is proof that you know don’t much about hiphop…. Meek fan boy smfh.

    2. Meek Mill is not hiphop, he’s just a rapper. Michael Rapaport is not a rapper, but he’s still hiphop. It’s not a white/black thing. It’s an understanding of the culture thing.

    3. Meek always is provin he still hurt by Nicki lmao. Every single time he does the #AskMeek hashtag he somehow finds a way to diss her and then when she responds everyone treats him like he’s Meek Mandela and tellin her she still bitter. Meek will forever hold an L.

    4. White people don’t know how to shut up and be fans there hoe asses are on the outsude looking in hip hop I wish nyc would have never shared hip hop with anyone else. Ungrateful pricks

      1. Rappaport was born and raised in Brooklyn. He’s more hiphop than Meek. Philly and will smith shit.

        Know your shit

        1. Hahaha know your shit, FOH are you from New York? Rapaport is from Upper East Side Manhattan fool, the burbs, his father was a big time radio exec and he went to private school. You know who else was born & raised in Brooklyn, Rudy Giuliani. Donald Trump grew up in Queens, is he part of the culture as well? Great analogy.

      3. Learn the difference between their, they’re and there. Using “there” instead of “their” is fucking kindergarten mistakes

    5. I’m white and I say so lol he’s mad as most white people get trust me we don’t want y’all hands in shit y’all just get the right unwoke nogha

    6. I hate these black rappers saying races other than blacks have no say in hip hop but market their music to more than just blacks. Let’s be honest, they would most likely want as much people buying/streaming their music regardless of race. Who here, knows many black people who have spotify or actually buys CDs
