Tyrese Gibson is at it again. According to the man who portrays Roman Pearce, the Fast & Furious franchise has to choose between him and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

On his Instagram page, Tyrese spelled out what The Rock’s return would mean for his future with the franchise.

“Hello world………. hello loyal fans and loved ones from OUR fast universe…….. I’m sorry to announce that if Dewayne is in Fast9 there will no more Roman Peirce.”

Tyrese went on to reference his relationship with his daughter, who also inspired a video of the 38-year-old crying and discussing his current custody battle with his ex-wife. In the video, Tyrese says he hasn’t seen his daughter for two months and speaks on the finances involved.

“I’m at $13,000 a month, what more do you want from me?” seemingly referencing his child support payments.

It’s clear from his latest Instagram post that Tyrese sees The Rock’s behavior as connected to his struggles with his daughter.

“You mess with family and my daughters survival I mess with yours,” he wrote. “close your eyes dude you’re a Clown’…… #CandyAssBitchMade All my real one…. Men on integrity… my real ones out here stand UP…… folks that GP to the gym and get big naturally… pause notice who’s got his arms around my shoulder and who’s standing alone – #OurChildrenMatter.”

The co-stars have been publicly feuding throughout 2017. Tyrese previously put The Rock on blast for the former professional wrestling star’s plans to do a Fast & Furious spin-off.

The spin-off was later confirmed, meaning that the ninth Fast & Furious film is set to be pushed back… which could explain how it ties to Tyrese’s financial worries.

Tyrese has played the role of Roman Pearce since 2003’s 2 Fast 2 Furious, the second installment in the multi-billion dollar franchise. The Rock joined the franchise in 2011 for Fast Five.
