Sales Projections Are In For Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTENTACION & A$AP Mob

A trifecta of monster rap releases was unleashed last Friday (August 25) — Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2, XXXTENTACION’s 17 and A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy.

HITS Daily Double has published its first week sales projections for the projects and predicts Luv Is Rage 2 will top the list.

Lil Uzi’s debut full-length album is expected to move 110,000-120,000 equivalent album units, with 25,000-28,000 in pure album sales. That should be enough for him to debut in the top spot of the Billboard 200 albums chart.

X’s 17 got a co-sign from Kendrick Lamar over the weekend and is predicted to move 65,000-70,000 copies with 15,000-18,000 of those being in pure album sales.

A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes  Vol. 2: Too Cozy is on the lower end of the spectrum and is set to move between 30,000-35,000 album equivalent units, with 7,000-9,000 of those coming from pure album sales.

A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and the rest of the Mob kick off the Too Cozy Tour in support of the album on September 23 in Massachusetts.

      1. I want to know why you think that… for real though. 17 is not meant for the radio, its not meant for the masses at all, its actually just good music in a really pure form. If I was Kendrick I would have given xxxtentacion the co-sign as well. dope album

    1. XXX had the best album released last week.
I was genuinely impressed by it. I thought it would be just another trash album but it was not.

    2. Uzi album has two songs I liked.
XXX had a lot of singing over a guitar.
Asap Mob got the best album out of these 3 and the most likeable songs.

    3. Stop pretending like these dudes are winning. Promoting this trash as the new era? You’re high hhdx.
