A$AP Rocky Confirms New Solo Album Dropping In 2017

A$AP Mob has had a busy month. Their AWGEST campaign saw the release of three separate projects: A$AP Twelvvy’s 12, A$AP Ferg’s Still Striving, and the Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy. Now, in a newly published interview with Complex, the group’s de facto frontman A$AP Rocky has revealed that his third studio album is also on its way.

“A.S.A.P. It’s about to drop,” Rocky said when asked about his third solo offering.

Despite not disclosing a concrete release date, Rocky did reveal that the untitled project will arrive before the year is out: “Yeah, for sure. For sure.

A$AP Rocky’s sophomore effort, At. Long. Last. A$AP, was released in May 2015. Discussing the project’s somewhat psychedelic sound, Rocky says: “It was ahead of its time. That was abnormal then, but in the near future, now in the present, it’s going to be normal, trust me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, A$AP Ferg revealed that the Mob will look to replicate their content-heavy AWGEST campaign every August.

Still Striving out right now, Cozy Tapes tonight, Twelvyy is out right now,” Ferg said. “It’s a takeover. We took over August, and in fact, we doing this every August.”

    1. The game BEEN waiting for a new Rocky album. Last project was trash but he’s dropped fire before, but the streets bump Brand New Guy and Goldie to this day.
