When Kendrick Lamar dropped the title, cover art and tracklist for his upcoming DAMN. album, it’s fair to say that a few people were surprised by the featured artists — and not just because of who was there (U2, in case you hadn’t heard), but because of who wasn’t there.

That is to say, compared to To Pimp A Butterfly, DAMN. looks pretty thin on features — or at least it did, until we learned that some artists would be appearing on the album who don’t feature on the back cover.

Montreal beatmaker Kaytranada, who was DX’s 2016 Producer of the Year, revealed in a since-deleted tweet that he’d be providing additional vocals to the record.

“Nigga im singing autotune for the first time in a Kendrick Lamar record hahahaaaaaaaaaas,” he wrote in the tweet.

Another tweet from Toronto instrumental outfit BADBADNOTGOOD shows that he’s not the only extra artist that will be appearing on the song — called “LUST.”

As for what the track might sound like, Kaytranada revealed that his vocals on the track are auto-tuned, but that’s pretty much all he said on the matter.

Zacari has also since revealed that he’s on the song “LOVE.” meaning there might be a few more things about this album K.Dot has yet to reveal.

DAMN. is set to drop this Friday (April 14), so expect any mysteries around other features to be cleared up soon.
