Kevin Durant’s latest injury is NOT due to the dreaded BasedGod curse.
In case you didn’t know, Lil B officially called the curse off of KD when the All-Star joined the Golden State Warriors last offseason. But the BasedGod reaffirmed his good standing with the superstar today (March 1) after Durant sprained his MCL yesterday (February 28) in a game against the Washington Wizards.

Lil B first placed the curse on the nine-year vet in 2011 after he called Lil B a “wack rapper.” He then took responsibility for many of KD’s woes since then, including a foot injury that threatened to end his season in 2015.

The now curse-less Durant was averaging 25.3 points per game this season before his injury and is expected to sit out at least four weeks. The Warriors are sitting at the top of the Western Conference standings with a 50-10 record, the best in the league.
