For the first time, Damon Dash has spoken up about his rocky relationship with former friend and business partner Jay-Z. In the upcoming issue of King Magazine, Dame speaks on his old friend…
“My best friend did some sh*t to me that I never thought in a million years he would do,” Dame said in King. “It was straight war in there. Either you on Jay’s side or Dame’s side.“
Many know how their relationship disintigrated over the past few years but Dame always maintained that the two were still “cool”… until now.
“The perception is that Def Jam bought Roc-A-Fella. Jay’s the president of Def Jam. I’m Bin Laden. You could either be with Bin Laden or be with [Jay-Z]. … You know what I’m saying?“
