Jay Z reportedly sent Beyonce 10,000 roses prior to her Super Bowl 50 halftime show performance, according to Us Weekly.
Beyonce performed her latest single, “Formation” during the performance. Coldplay was the headlining act and Bruno Mars also performed.
After the performance, Beyonce explained the meaning behind “Formation.”

“I wanted people to feel proud, have love for themselves,” she said.
The song was released over the weekend via Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service. The couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy, appears in the video.
Jay Z and Beyonce were married in 2008.
