Ciara, famous for hit records like 1,2 Step is working on a film.
The film, All You’ve Got, is a coming-of-age story about privileged high school volleyball players having to deal with crisis when their school burns down. They are forced to join a rival team and must also learn to co-exist when race and class collide.
“There’s a great message behind it. The real moral of the story is that you can have everything and still be unhappy. It’s the little things that count,”explains Ciara, who plays Becca Watley in the film.
Becca is one of the privileged, but still has to face problems. Ciara claims it was easy to put herself in Becca’s shoes at times.

“When I was 14, I was trying to figure out what I was going to do. She’s 16, but she doesn’t know, either. And her dad never attends any of her games. A lot of the other girls have support, and that kind of bothers her. My parents weren’t able to attend all of my things either, they had a hectic schedule, and that kind of got to me a little bit, too. I understood what they were doing, but I still wish they could have been there,” she told MTV.com.
Acting was not always easy, though. “My character’s got an attitude,”Ciara claims, “and it was hard for me, I must say, just to be in rehearsals and be like, ‘OK, I’m mad!’ It’s very intense, but it’s fun, too.”
The film also features Efren Ramirez, who played Pedro Sanchez in Napoleon Dynamite and Faizon Love from Scrubs.
In other news, Ciara was able to celebrate at the Vibe Awards. The R&B singer took home “The Coolest Collabo” award for her song Oh which featured Ludacris.
