On “Back To Back,” Drake’s Meek Mill diss record, the Canadian wordsmith namedrops Philly lyricist AR-AB as he raps: “I waited four days, nigga, where y’all at? / I drove here in the Wraith playin’ AR-AB.”

AR-AB recently chopped it up with Vlad TV about his name being mentioned on “Back To Back,” Meek Mill’s Drake diss “Wanna Know,” and more.

In regards to “Wanna Know,” AR-AB revealed that the record left him disappointed and uncertain as to whether or not that was all Meek had lined up for his response to Drake’s diss.

“I’m not even gonna lie,” AR-AB said. “After I heard it I’m thinking ‘This can’t be it.’ Meek come from Philly streets. I’m thinking there was gonna be some more shit than that. So, we all was just waiting like ‘Nah, this ain’t the end of it. That’s just the beginning of it.’ And then come to find out, that was the end of it. I’m not even gonna lie, man. I thought it was gonna be like five fuckin’ Drake disses out by now. I’m like ‘Damn, Meek gonna go hard. This a good opportunity because Drake is at a higher level than him.’ So, it’s like I’m thinking this a good opportunity for him to get more fans or get more stripes.”

During his interview, AR-AB revealed that a deal with Drake’s OVO Sound “could happen.” He also added that Drizzy likely namedropped him on “Back To Back” because he’s “the top goon in Philly.”

As far as his relationship with Meek Mill, AR-AB says he’s unsure of what the status of their relationship with one another is.

“I have no fucking idea, man. To be honest with you,” he said. “I talked to Meek probably like a month ago, a month and a half ago. I actually was there at the videoshoot when the little shit happened. And we talked that day. I don’t be knowing what’s going on, man.”
