People wondered if there would be a Phat Farm McDonald’s uniform coming. Well the answer from Russell Simmons is a hearty “NO!”
“Not only is it not true, I am not in talks with them, I’m a vegan! It goes against my principles,” he said at an in-store appearance in Vancouver. “I don’t eat anything that runs away from me! I’m going to have to issue a rebuttal about this.”
It seems that Simmons was openly disturbed by the reports that many hip-hop clothing giants were in talks with McDonald’s to create more stylish gear.
A man of morals, Simmons openly has denied being involved in the new campaign. So that just leaves Sean John, Roc-A-Wear, FUBU and a host of others to either jump onboard or leave it alone.
