Cassidy will more than likely have to sit behind bars while his new album is being released. The Philly emcee was denied bail in regards to the murder case he turned himself in on.
He stands charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and various weapons offenses according to MTV. He has yet to enter a plea during his arraignment and will not be asked for several months…when his case is brought to trial.
He is being held at Philadelphia’s Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility and, according to a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office, will remain there until his trial.
A spokesperson for the district attorney’s office said it’s likely Cassidy’s detainment at Philadelphia’s Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility will continue until, and throughout, his trial.
