Atlanta rapper Killer Mike will be shooting the video to his first single, “My Chrome” this week in his hometown (Atlanta), which will be directed by Hype Williams.
Killer Mike‘s sophomore release, Ghetto Extraordinary, which hits shelves August 30th on Purple Ribbon Records/Sony, is a said to be a “blend of quintessential, southern-player anthems and introspective compositions that have a social conscious”.
“In order to write, you have to live, so that’s what I’ve been doing- living. I’ve grown and become a stronger artist, all the while maintaining the same integrity for Hip-Hop and Rap music that I had before. I feel like this record is the beginning of my career, says Mike.
Look for the album August 30th.
