During a recent tour-run in Canada, Rich Homie Quan sat down with Montreality to discuss a wide variety of topics including Cash Money’s internal controversy, Birdman and looking up to Drake.

Although Rich Homie has mentioned speaking to Birdman about Lil Wayne in the past, he tells Montreality that he “doesn’t really know what’s going on” with their situation.

“I can only speak for myself because I try not to get into their business,” Quan says. “It doesn’t exist to me. I have no problems with Wayne. I pray both of them get through whatever they’re going through… Other than that, I’ve just been focusing on myself.”

Recently, Quan announced that he is parting ways with Rich Gang – the group he belonged to with Birdman and Young Thug.  During the six-minute clip, Quan is all smiles as he recalls a pleasant memory with his former groupmates.

“One of my favorite moments was when me and Thug brought him to perform again,” Quan says. “It was his first time performing, he said in 10 years. He did ‘Still Fly.’ He did the whole song. He said that brought something back up out of him, that he thought left him years ago.

“It even gave me goosebumps,” Quan adds.

The “New Atlanta” rapper also commented on Drake’s new album, If Youre Reading This Its Too Late.

Quan says that “he keeps hearing it everywhere he goes.”
