Everybody has been wondering “What’s the deal with Dave Chappelle?” Well we reported earlier that since the production of “Chappelle’s Show” was halted that Dave had taken a break and took a little R&R time in South Africa. Dave cited numerous complications (none dealing with rumored drug abuse or mental health), which led to the show being put on hold. Now it seems that Dave has ended his spiritual journey and has been spotted on U.S. soil.

Dave has been seen out and about in his hometown of Yellow Springs, Ohio over the past week but don’t get your hopes up yet fans. This sighting means nothing in regards to when and if “Chappelle’s Show” will grace Comedy Central in the near future.

“We have no update and I won’t speculate on when the show might come back,” Chappelle spokesperson Matt Labov said to MTV. A spokesperson for Comedy Central did say that the channel plans to give the comedian some time to “get his head together.” And word is that the show may not come back this year but it hopefully will find its way back on air in the near future.
