Hip-hop beef is slowly simmering and many fans are happy that there will not be any exaggerated fits of rage that lead to violent conclusions for the artists involved. T.I. and Lil Flip were one of the high profile beefs that took center stage. But as we reported earlier, the two sat down and ironed out their problems. Problem is, this whole sit down wasn’t T.I.’s idea.

I appreciate it, but I can’t take full credit for it,” he said. “It was not my idea. I thank people for taking notice of me trying to take steps in a positive direction. It was an OG call. They were the ones with the visions — they should get the credit. I don’t think me nor [Flip] … I can’t speak for him, but I know that ain’t where I was. I had made up in my mind I wasn’t dealing with him and I was moving on, but I had no intention of doing a sit-down. But all’s well that ends wellT.I. told MTV.

Nonetheless, the beef is over and T.I. will continue making music. His next album The King is slowly reaching completion while his Grand Hustle imprint will be putting out the soundtrack to the upcoming John Singleton film “Hustle & Flow.” The soundtrack is set to be released on June 28th while there is no release date for The King.
