Flavor Flav made an eventful appearance in a Long Island, NY courtroom Wednesday (January 21) to face charges stemming from a New York traffic stop last year.
Chants of “Flavor Flav” followed the rapper as he walked around the court facility.
Flav was arraigned on a felony charge of “Aggravated Unlicensed Operation”, two additional misdemeanors and a speeding violation.
Outside of the Nassau County courtroom, Flav spoke with a swarm of reporters.

“I don’t like the circumstances,” he told the NY Daily News. “But I like the attention.”
He also promoted an upcoming Public Enemy concert.
“When you come to see us perform you’ll see we haven’t lost a step,” he told reporters with a golden grin on his face.
Prosecutors say Flav had his license suspended 15 times before he was initially stopped on the Meadowbrook Parkway last year.
