Shouldn’t one be retired before they come back? How can you come back when you never left? I guess why retire when you just are going to record more music than you have in the past right? It must be part of Hov’s master plan.
A little over a year ago the hip-hop world gasped when Jay-Z announced his retirement. Since then he has recorded new material, made a movie and was appointed to president of Def Jam. Sounds like a whole lot for one to be retired eh? So it came as no surprise when Jay told the New York Post that he was indeed plotting a “return” to the game.
But the funny thing is that most of the hip-hop world will fall for this and he will sell even more ridiculous numbers when he puts out his “comeback” album. This all goes to show how dumb the public can be at times. Jay-Z might just be too smart for us.
