Kendrick Lamar has replaced himself at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 as his SZA collaboration “Luther” knocks “Not Like Us” from the top spot.
“Not Like Us” had returned to the summit of the chart after Kendrick’s record breaking performance at the Super Bowl halftime show with “Luther” now gifting the Compton superstar a sixth number one single.
It is also SZA’s third song to top the Billboard Hot 100.
Kendrick also occupied four of the top five slots in the top 10 as “Not Like Us” only dropped one place to second, “TV Off” sat comfortably at fourth and “Squabble Up” remained fifth.

While Kendrick’s nemesis, Drake, managed to dethrone him on the Billboard 200 with PartyNextDoor collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, he only landed a couple of entries in the top 10 on the Hot 100.
Album standouts “Gimme a Hug” and “Nokia” debuted at six and 10 respectively. Notably, these were two of the songs not to include contributions from PartyNextDoor. The highest charting collaboration from the album was “CN Tower” which debuted at number 18.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U comfortably charted at the top of the Billboard 200, shifting 246,000 equivalent units in its debut week on sale.
With the accolade, Drake now ties JAY-Z and Taylor Swift for being the solo artist with the most number one albums in the chart’s near 70-year history. Only The Beatles, with 19, have more.

Drake has now released 14 number one albums in 15 years while $ome $exy $ongs 4 U is PND’s first album to reach the summit of the Billboard 200.
It is also Drake’s third collaborative album to top the chart after What A Time to be Alive with Future in 2015 and Her Loss with 21 Savage in 2022.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U picked up over 287 million streams across the week, the biggest streaming launch for an album since Kendrick’s GNX last December.

Meanwhile, GNX slipped back down to number three, selling another 136,000 equivalent units despite being released three months ago.
Despite taking the number one spot, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U comes in slightly below projections with mid-week tallies expecting the album to hit 250,000 units sold.
To add insult to injury, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U would fall short of Kendrick’s own post-beef album GNX, which opened with 319,000 units last November.
