Cherry Jones, ODB’s mother, isn’t very happy and is taking her frustrations out on production company AGU Entertainment. The lawsuit is based on the production company allegedly exploiting her dead son.
Jones and ODB’s manager, Jarred Weisfeld have filed a $1.8 million lawsuit against the firm. They claim that the company failed to fulfill deals for an album and DVD but still continue to use ODB’s name to attract investors
ODB collapsed after an accidental overdose on cocaine and a prescription painkiller back in November. A new CD reportedly is on the horizon but details have been sketchy.
Weisfeld’s attorney Mary Frey says, “We’re just saddened and shocked that AGU would do this, given what everyone had been through with Dirty‘s death.”
