Machine Gun Kelly is addressing the many rumors surrounding his relationship status with Megan Fox as they approach the due date for their first child together.

Back in December, TMZ reported the couple had split just weeks after announcing they’re expecting. Then on Tuesday (January 30), the outlet said their sources revealed the pair are still not on speaking terms – but MGK is shooting down said sources.

After a nearly two-month hiatus from social media, the Cleveland rapper returned to Instagram and revealed a newly-grown beard as he asked, “How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything?”

This will be the second child for MGK, who has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, while Megan shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

Megan Fox announced her pregnancy in a post to Instagram on November 12, referencing the miscarriage she and MGK suffered a few years back by writing, “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back.”

One day in another ten weeks/ I never even got to hear your heartbeat/ Last year feels like a past life / We said forever on the very first night,” he sings on the song.

The track lived on his 2022 album Mainstream Sellout, which included an accompanying magazine. In it, he said of the song: “The second part of this song [‘twin flame’] came almost two years later. Well, actually it started as a song called ‘One Day & 10 Weeks.’ Then I made a song called ‘Last November.’ Neither expressed the sadness we experienced from what I will leave private, and I circled back to this song and decided to add on to the story. Our story.”

On the music side of things, Machine Gun Kelly recently addressed the “stigma” surrounding being a white rapper. According to Kells, most of the backlash he’s faced in his career has come from white fans.

The Cleveland-born rapper and punk rocker stopped by Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast in August where he discussed his relationship with Hip Hop fans of the Caucasian persuasion.

“I won’t deny that there is a subconscious stigma around that, being white in Hip Hop,” he said after co-host Mike Majlak brought up the criticism that white rappers face. “To me, it’s so funny because the streets fuck with me so tough. It’s honestly from other white people that give me the most shit.”

MGK then gave former foe Eminem props for being the “only” white rapper to be fully accepted in Hip Hop: “The crazy thing is, there’s only been one who’s done it. There’s only been one who’s done it and crossed that line of ‘we accept.’”
