While the public sits and waits for A Tribe Called Quest reunion album, Q-Tip has some plans of his own. The Queens emcee has inked a deal with Motown to release his next album. While his failed Kamaal the Abstract album never saw the light of day, word is that this next project will be more Tribe than ever.
Death Row has finally released once promising artist Crooked I. Three years ago the rapper was thought to be the one who would put Death Row back on the map but it seems as if those plans have come to a screeching halt. Now word is that he has signed to Universal and will release his debut album sometime this year along with his controversial Life After Death Row DVD.
Twista isn’t going to just sit down and watch his long sought after success slowly fade away. The Chi-town rapper is getting set to put out his Speedknot Mobstaz crew out there with Mobstability II: Nation Business which is coming this spring. The album will feature production by Kanye West as well as long time affiliate Trackz. In the meanwhile Twista is completing his next album which may be released in May.
