Work on the highly anticipated third season of The Chappelle show has been half-baked, according to the New York Post. Since renewing his contract to the tune of $50 million dollars, Dave Chappelle’s Emmy nominated show has been moving a bit slow toward its third season.

Multiple incidents have slowed production down. From Dave’s 3 week illness to the writers getting off to a slow start to attempt to improve upon the successful sketches of the second season, it seems as if the show will not be successful in meeting the season premier slated for Feb 16th.

Dave–and his entire production crew for that matter–got a bit of a late start on writing season three,” network spokeman Tony Fox told the New York Post.

Now not only will the season not start on time, the DVD has been pushed back to coincide with the season premier. As of right now the third installment is looking towards a late April or May release.
