In what has become an unbelievable string of events starting with the Vibe Awards brawl, Young Buck was charged Monday with assault with a deadly weapon stemming from his arrest last month for allegedly stabbing another man during the melee that began with Dr. Dre getting punched by an audience member.
The G-Unit rapper was pictured by security cameras stabbing Jimmy James Johnson- the man who allegedly punched Dr. Dre. What happened after the sucker punch was quite a scene, including a brief scuffle that allegedly pitted people from Dr. Dre’s camp against Johnson and other members of the audience. Buck’s attorney has said that the video of the alleged stabbing may be “deceiving.”
If Buck is convicted of the assault charge, he faces up to eight years in state prison. Johnson meanwhile was also charged with assault and is scheduled for arraignment on January 10th.
