We reported awhile back that Death Row and Suge Knight may possibly be rolling out the red carpet for Houston’s legendary Scarface but those rumors have been squashed by Rap-A-Lot. The label has re-signed Scarface to a new deal and has also inked a new distribution deal with Warner Music Group/Asylum.

“We just renewed and confirmed the strong bond & dedication that Scarface has with Rap-A-Lot Records,” said J. Prince, CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records. “As an individual, Scarface has always been genuine and willing to support home. When all the top labels were trying to sign him, he didn’t sell out. This will be another giant step that will enhance his overall entrepreneurship as a business man.”

Now, with that out of the way, Scarface will continue to work on his next solo album. In the meantime he will return with Willie D and Bushwick Bill to record a new Geto Boys album titled War & Peacewhich will be in stores January 25th 2005.
