Jay Electronica surprised fans of KanyeToThe, a message board, with a question-and-answer session, according to HipHop-N-More. The Q&A consisted of a variety of topics, including Electronica’s perspective regarding Kanye West’s 2013 album, Yeezus

“i loved it, but the media crucified him and slandered him because of the content and his outspokenness on many things. Then the sheeple started saying it was wack like a mantra after a few so-called tastemakers said it. the end,” Jay Electronica said.

Yeezus was given a 4.5 out of 5 in its HipHopDX review

Electronica was also asked if his upcoming album, Act II: Patents Of Nobility, is slated to be released in July, a date the rapper recently tweeted. “No sir.. but i promise you its coming this year and I’m about to heat the game up and charge the particles so high,” Electronica said.

The Louisiana rapper also talked about his favorite verses during his question and answer session.

“better in tune. is my favourite verse to date. That and the one i spit on Mac Miller’s album. But that one is for selfish reasons,” he said.

Electronica recently had a Q&A with Twitter followers. During that session, the Louisiana emcee said he feels he has the best verse on Big Sean’s “Control,” a cut that also features Kendrick Lamar.
